Education support fund commendation

An entrepreneur, Alhaji Abdul Yaro, has commended non-governmental organisation, Maikaya Development Foundation, for its consistency in promoting support for education.

The foundation’s support initiative, now in its 17th edition, offers financial assistance to students who are indigenes of Nasarawa State and are enrolled in tertiary institutions across Nigeria.

In a statement, Yaro said the foundation has consistently encouraged eligible students to apply within a period to benefit from the programme.

The statement reads: “The Foundation has a history of supporting education in Nasarawa State, with the Education Support Fund being a key component of its efforts.

The selection process is based on merit and the specific needs of the applicants, ensuring that the most deserving candidates receive support.”

Meanwhile, the Maikaya Development Foundation remains committed to enhancing educational opportunities for Nasarawa State indigenes, reflecting its dedication to community development and empowerment through education.
