Ciroma Toto is a performer, a rare philanthropist – Says Toto LG Chair, Tashas
The grand patron of the Maikaya Development Foundation, MDF, and President of the Toto Development Association, TODA, Alhaji Musa Muhammed Maikaya ( Ciroma Toto) has been commended for attracting meaningful development to his immediate host community and Toto local government area of the State.
The Chairman of Toto local government area, Hon. Aliyu Abdullahi Tashas gave the commendation during the Maikaya football tournament final held on Sunda, 1st January 2023. The Chairman bared his mind to the sincere commitment of the philanthropist whose generosity has given the youths a state of belonging not only within Toto LG but across the three senatorial districts of the State.
“I am here alongside my beloved wife and the entire team of Toto LGC to celebrate a bosom friend and achiever in the person of Maikaya.”
The Chairman said he single out Maikaya for an obvious reason, first as a politician and philanthropist who lived humbly for others to be satisfied. He described Maikaya as a bosom friend and rare philanthropist, adding that his leadership endeared him to people within and outside the State. While congratulating Maikaya Development Foundation, MDF, for the successful hosting of the 3rd edition football tournament urged them to sustain the tempo.
Tashas said he was overwhelmed with the peaceful conduct of the participating teams during and after the tournament and assured of his administration’s support for the well-being of the Toto people. He added.
He emphasized the need for leaders to emulate the humility and leadership prowess of Maikaya to create job opportunities for teeming youths by reducing crimes in society.
“Maikaya is a developmental incline leader, his efforts and philanthropic gesture were to provide palliative to the people of his domain and beyond.”
The council boss specifically saluted the winning team for their victory and urged them to be magnanimous in victory, even as he noted that sports promote peace and unity among others.
“Maikaya Foundation has also made it easy for this present government to succeed through its numerous intervention in areas of youth development, education, and empowerment among others.
The Chairman who was accompanied by his beloved wife and Chairperson of the council, Vice Chairman of the council, elected, Supervisory councilors, and aides said they were in Toto town to celebrate Maikaya and to encourage him to do more.
